Candied Cranberries

1 cup cranberries
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
Prick firm cranberries with a needle, Boil sugar and water until syrup
spins a thread - 230°F. Add cranberries, cook very gently until syrup
jells.
Dry cranberries on waxed paper. Roll in sugar.
